Drink Driver Almost Five Times the Limit at Daveyston
A woman has been reported for drink driving after recording a blood alcohol reading almost five times the legal limit at Daveyston today.
Just after 3.30pm on Friday 25 May, police stopped a Toyota 4WD on the Sturt Highway after receiving reports from the public that the driver was intoxicated.
The driver was breath tested and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.241.
Of concern to the patrol was that there were two children in the car at the time.
Families SA have been notified.
A 39-year-old woman from the Barossa region was reported for drink driving and issued with a twelve month instant loss of licence.
Her car was also impounded. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
