Election Possible this Year

An efficacious Labor party staffer has done an exhaustive search of possible election dates contrasting them with national holidays or events and come up with the most likely option when an election can be held this year.

The date is Saturday August 25th.

This date according to the research from the staffer is the only date where there isn’t another major national event or holiday on a weekend right up until the end of the election cycle in May next year.

If the Liberals win the 3 seats they are contesting of Braddon, Mayo and Longman it’s rumoured they will go to an early election and that may well be the date.
