Kooka's to Continue Cooking Cookies in the Country

Kooka's Country Cookies are adored by many people right across Australia, making their way to homes around the nation, after being locally produced in the regional Victorian town of Donald.

After facing some hardships in recent times, the future is looking bright for the Wimmera biscuit manufacturer, following the announcement of a State Government grant - helping to build a new site in Donald while boosting employment in the region, creating 11 new full-time jobs within Kooka's.

Kooka's Spokesperson Kelvin Clark spoke to Flow FM about the funding boost and what it will mean for the future of Kooka's Country Cookies and the town of Donald.

The new upgrade will also see an extra production line introduced to operations, with an area dedicated to making gluten free biscuits in the near future.

Kooka’s was first established in 1990 and is owned by 15 shareholders, the majority of whom live in Donald.

Find your Kooka's Country Cookies at most major and independent grocers around Australia, or being handed out by Flow FM at your next local event!
