Car Breakers Arrested in Murray Bridge
Two men have been arrested after they were caught breaking into cars at Murray Bridge this morning.
Just after midnight Thursday 14 June police were called to Ferris Court following reports of people breaking into cars.
Upon arrival police observed one man allegedly breaking into a car who subsequently ran when police arrived.
He was arrested soon after after being found hiding under a car. A second man was arrested nearby hiding in a bush.
The men, a 19-year-old and a 38-year-old, both from Murray Bridge have been charged with four counts of illegal interference, theft and unlawful possession.
They were bailed to appear in Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 13 August.
