Fuel Theft on Yorke Peninsula
Police are investigating theft of fuel in the Yorke Mid North Local Service Area.
Over the past few months fuel has been targeted in thefts from motor vehicles and boats in Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo areas.
The thefts have been primarily from jerry cans left in boats and on the back of vehicles.
Boats and cars have also had their fuel tanks siphoned.
These vehicles are generally left in residential driveways or on the streets.
The public is reminded if they notice any suspicious behaviour in or around vehicles please contact police immediately by calling 131 444.
Timely reporting can assist police to locate offenders and prevent further crime from occurring.
