This Week #BeZoonosisAware
This week is Zoonosis Awareness Week where people who work in rural areas or in close proximity to livestock and other animals are encouraged to #BeZoonosisAware.
So what are Zoonotic diseases and how can they be passed from animals to people and vice versa?
Flow FM's Country Viewpoint spoke with Jess Rummery, Animal Health Australia (AHA) Biosecurity Extension Manager in Northern Australia to find out.
AHA’s Zoonosis Awareness Week is running through to Friday July 6, to coincide with World Zoonosis Day.
Get involved by using the hashtag #BeZoonosisAware, and join in the conversation online.
