Labor’s Campaign Launch for the Seat of Cowper

The Shadow Minister for Regional and Rural Australia and Shadow Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Joel Fitzgibbon launched Labor’s candidate for the seat of Cowper in Mid-North NSW over the weekend.

Advisor on marketing, communication, corporate relations & sustainability Andrew Woodward will be Labor’s candidate for the next Federal Election.

The Seat is currently held by The Nationals Luke Hartsuyker who was first elected at the 2001 General Election.

This will be a hard seat for Labor to win as the last time Labor won the seat from the then Country Party was in 1961 and their vote in the last election on first preferences was only 13.61%.

Life’s Good in Braddon, Longman and Mayo

The PM and his senior Ministers are hitting Braddon, Longman and Mayo with everything they have promising spend after spend to win the Super Saturday July 28 By-elections.

The Foreign Minister toured Altas Heavy Engineering in the small town of Gympie in the Longman electorate with the Liberals candidate Trevor Ruthenberg today.

The trip was to announce a welding training centre followed by a media conference.

The PM was in Avebury Mine with the Premier of Tasmania Will Hodgman and his candidate for Braddon in Tasmania Brett Whiteley to spend more money on the community.
