The West Coast local joined Flow FM on today's Country Viewpoint to talk her award win, how she came to fly for the first time, and what a day in the life of a Pilot really looks like.

Backed by a very supportive team, CEO/Operations Manager at Chinta Air Noel Schwarz said they were all very excited when Felicity was named a finalist in the national awards.

"For us it proves that no matter how remote and regional you work, you can be recognised as making a difference.

"This award really is a mark of the dedication to outback aviation and tourism that Felicity has strived for over the past 20 years, the leadership of a woman, in the predominantly male dominated industry of Aviation - let alone remote and regional aviation tourism."

When asked to give advice on 'taking flight' with your dreams, Felicity had one message for Flow listeners: "Set your goals, do your homework and do it!"
