Hay Industry Responds to Shortage

Balco Australia is one of the country’s leading hay processors and exporters, who are at the forefront of the nation's hay and fodder industry.

With the Australian Fodder Industry Association (AFIA) conference coming up in Adelaide later this month, growers are taking part in a bi-annual tour to visit SA's fodder farming operations, including a visit to Balco.

Malcolm May is a Founding Member of Balco, and joined Anita on today's Country Viewpoint to talk about the tour, hay export industry, and a response to Farmers on the current hay shortage situation.

The AFIA conference is taking place from July 29 - 31, giving growers a chance to learn insights and skills within the fodder industry.
