Graincast: Casting the Future of Grain


New apps and information are popping into our lives everyday, making what used to be tedious and complicated tasks as simple as pressing a button.

CSIRO scientists have recently produced a new app called Graincast, which involves farmers being able to get instantaneous soil, water and yield information from the palms of their hands without having to input substantial information.

To find out more about the app, Sarah caught up with CSIRO Scientist Roger Lawes on the Regional Roundup.
