Buy a Bale and Help a Farmer
Our farmers are in desperate need of assistance all across the Flow regions at the moment, and to help them out we can all buy a bale.
Buy a Bale is an organisation set up by Charles and Tracy Alder in June 2013 after seeing farmers reduced to destroying their stock and being forced off their land amid to disastrous conditions.
Since 2013, Buy a Bale has delivered 160,000 bales of hay across 4 states but has become so much more with the launch of Rural Aid to expand to help rural a communities with services and support as they too suffer through natural disasters and dwindling population numbers.
Wanting to know how far they travel and ways that they are helping our farmers, Sarah caught up with Charles Alder this week on the Regional Roundup.
There are many ways that you can help lend a hand to our farmers; by donating time, money, transport, gifts and hay or fodder. Big or small, every bit counts.
If you want to help out our farmers by buying a bale, or if you need help yourself, head on over to their website buyabale.com.au.
