Man Arrested Over Firearms Theft on YP
A man will face court today charged over the theft of a number of firearms during a break-in at Kadina.
It will be alleged the man broke into a Kadina residence over the weekend and stole a number of firearms, ammunition, motorcycles and other property.
Following investigation by detectives from the Serious Firearms Investigation Branch and Kadina CIB, a 46-year-old Kadina man was arrested yesterday, 31 July.
A large quantity of stolen property, including firearms, was recovered.
The arrested man was charged with serious criminal trespass, theft and trafficking firearms.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are continuing.
