Man Arrested at Wudinna
A Wudinna man will face court for traffic offences and for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Just after 10.30am on Tuesday 14 August, police at Wudinna received information from the public regarding a dirt circuit race car being driven by a man, revving it's engine and driving dangerously, doing donuts on a grassed reserve damaging terrain.
As part of the investigation a police patrol attended a Wudinna home where they were allegedly threatened with a metal tool.
As a result a 46-year-old Wudinna man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault police, three counts of misuse of a motor vehicle and other traffic offences including driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
The arrested man has been remanded to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 27 September.
The unregistered vehicle was also impounded for 28 days.
