NSW Man Crosses the Line in Wodonga
Wodonga police have arrested a man after drugs and cash were seized during a routine intercept last night.
Officers were patrolling the West Wodonga area when they spotted a Holden Commodore with allegedly false number plates on Romet Road just before midnight.
A search of the car led to the discovery of drugs, allegedly including quantities of ice, cannabis and valium.
Police also seized a significant amount of cash and a baton.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man from Culcairn, New South Wales, was arrested at the scene.
He has been charged with drug-related offences, including possess methyl amphetamine, cannabis and prescription medication; possess prohibited weapon; display false plates; and other driving-related offences.
The man has been bailed to appear at Wodonga Magistrates’ Court on 4 December.
