Since then we've been graced with absolute classics like True Blue, Home Among the Gum Trees, Rip Rip Woodchip, Raining on the Rock and many more.
Williamson's career has seen him be a part of the music industry for close to 50 years, and in that time he has been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, won 3 ARIA Awards, 26 Golden Guitars, MO Awards, three APRA Awards, Platinum and Gold album accreditation and sold more than four million albums.
It doesn't stop there, with Williamson just releasing his 20th studio album, to find out more about what keeps him going and his passion for Australian culture, Sarah caught up with the legend himself, on today's Arvo Flow.
