New Connected Learning Centre for Narrandera
TAFE NSW Narrandera is now the home of a new multi-million dollar Connected Learning Centre (CLC), aimed at transforming education delivery in the town and wider Riverina region.
It was officially opened by Assistant Minister for Skills Adam Marshall and Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke (pictured) who describe the facility as state-of-the-art.
Steph Cooke spoke with Anita on today's Country Viewpoint for more information.
Minister Marshall explained the great opportunities on offer, saying: “The Narrandera Connected Learning Centre has almost doubled the number of courses available to local students, with many more to come in the future.
“The new CLC will deliver courses that have high demand across the state through blended, facilitated and online learning, including Drone Essentials, Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Business Administration – which will be offered locally for the first time.
“The new TAFE NSW facilities here in Narrandera will benefit not only the local community, but the wider region, helping more people get the skills they need to get the jobs of tomorrow.”
