Police Investigate Crash on Yorke Highway
Police are investigating a crash on the Yorke Highway, Sandilands where a caravan overturned yesterday afternoon.
Just before 4pm, Monday 1 October police and emergency services responded to a crash on the Yorke Highway, Sandilands, where a car towing a caravan collided with a safety barrier and the caravan overturned.
The highway was blocked for nearly two hours between Sandy Church Road and St Vincent Highway while emergency services cleared the road and the car and caravan were towed from the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Prado towing the caravan, a 69-year-old man from Coobowie was taken to the Ardrossan Hospital with minor injuries.
Police wish to thank members of the public who stopped at the scene and provided assistance to the driver and emergency service members.
