Mental Health Week A Reminder Regional Aussies Are Not Alone


This mental health week regional and remote communities across Australia are being reminded they are not alone, and have a variety of services on hand ready to offer support.

SANE Australia is shining a light on their online peer support services aimed at connecting regional Australians who are facing a complex mental illness, or are supporting someone who is.

So what is a complex mental illness and how can people access support?

Jack Heath is CEO at SANE Australia and spoke to Flow FM's Country Viewpoint program for more.


The SANE Forums bring together the lived experience of individuals, families, friends and carers in a safe, anonymous and supportive environment, and are monitored by mental health professionals at all times.
