Police have seized cannabis plants and dried cannabis following a search of two properties in the Yorke Mid-North Local Service Area.
Just before 1.30pm yesterday (24 October), police from Eudunda, Balaklava, Freeling and Riverton searched a property at Eudunda.
The search uncovered seven cannabis plants, cannabis seeds, equipment to hydroponically grow cannabis plus a quantity of dried cannabis.
A 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old man both from the Mid-North were reported for cultivating a controlled drug.
The men will be summonsed to appear in Tanunda Magistrates Court at a later date.
Also yesterday, at 2.30pm, police from Port Victoria, Maitland, Ardrossan and Minlaton searched a property at South Kilkerran, south of Maitland.
Police will allege they located a hydroponic cannabis grow room inside the house, two cannabis plants, a quantity of dried cannabis, chemicals and a tazer.
Police investigations are continuing to locate the occupant of the property.
Both properties were searched after police received information from members of the public.
