Two Drivers Caught Under the Influence
Two drivers have been caught under the influence in separate incidents on the Eyre Peninsula.
Police will allege that about 11.50pm on Saturday 10 November, police stopped a white utility travelling on Montgomerie Terrace in Streaky Bay.
The driver of the vehicle underwent a breath test which returned a positive reading of 0.144.
The 37-year-old woman was issued with a six-month immediate loss of licence notice, and she will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.
In the second incident, about 6.15pm on Friday 9 November, police stopped a silver Toyota ute on Marchant Street, Ceduna for the purpose of a mobile driver screening test.
The driver returned a positive reading of 0.057.
The 37-year-old Ceduna man was subsequently issued with an expiation notice for exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol.
