Fatal Crash at Coober Pedy
Police Major Crash Investigators have flown to Coober Pedy in the State's Far North, following a fatal crash about seven kms north of the township this morning.
Emergency Services were alerted after a Holden sedan carrying four men rolled on Kempe Road, Coober Pedy about 11.10am on Friday 16 November.
The driver, a 35-year-old man from Coober Pedy died at the scene.
The three passengers, a 26-year-old man from the State's Far North has been airlifted to Adelaide in a serious condition, while a 27-year-old man and 17-year-old boy have been treated at the local Cobber Pedy Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Kempe Road will remain closed to local traffic for several hours.
Major Crash investigators are flying to the scene from Adelaide to examine the crash site.
The State's road toll now stands at 64 compared to 83 at the same time last year.
