Virtual Reality Preparing People for Bushfires

Would you feel better prepared for a bushfire if you got the chance to experience one in virtual reality (VR) first?

University of South Australia researchers and the SA Country Fire Service (CFS) have together developed a VR headset that gives participants this full experience, and are working to understand how it can help prepare people for a real bushfire situation.

Delene Weber is Associate Professor at the University of South Australia, and caught up with Anita on the Regional Roundup for an update of how the study is going.
