Busy Wool Week As China Reacts to FMD Outbreak
IT has been a hive of activity in wool circles this week as China reacted strongly to the news of a Foot an Mouth Disease Outbreak in South Africa, putting huge pressure on Aussie markets, with prices jumping 50 cents.
Markets across the nation were solid with 40 000 bales offered which will look to increase by 8000 next week on the back on the FMD news.
