Communites Converge for Clean Up Australia Day 2019

This weekend, people across Australia will grab their gloves and a bag, or bucket, and hit the streets of their community for Clean Up Australia Day.

Officially celebrated on March 3, businesses and school have already put their best foot forward this week to care for the environment.

Renae caught up with Clean Up Australia Day managing director Terrie-Ann Johnson to chat about the evolution of the event, a potential Guinness World Record and how people can get involved.

Organised events are happening all across our regions, so head to Clean Up Australia Day to find an event near you, or do your part to clean up your local area wherever you may be!
